Description | This contribution investigates the relationship between government debt and economic growth in four similar and linked countries. Visegrad Four. The emphasis is also put on the structure of the government debt and how the debt was created. Through the history, there are many different ways of how the debt can be accumulated. It is important for the government to know this, so they can use the correct debt management policies. This paper focuses at four economies belonging to the Visegrad Four and it is using data from the last two decades to investigate evidence of these debt management policies and changes in debt structure. |
