Description | The used LIBS instrumentation is capable of quantitative sulfur determination in asphalt samples after some correction procedures. Observed differences in electron number density and excitation temperature in the sample and the calibration pellets microplasma do not fully explain the observed differences in the results without corrections. Best correction procedure was the internal standardization using helium line He I 587.58 nm. |
