Description | Gallium and selenium are often components of chalcogenide glasses with many applications as e.g. optical fibres, phase change memories, and optical discs. Mass spectrometry is well established technique to analyse organic compounds. In addition, Time Of Flight Mass Spectrometry (TOF-MS) has potential to be used for resolving structural motifs of inorganic materials such as chalcogenide glasses, which will be examined in this work. |
