Description Intercultural communicative competence represents an exceedingly individualized concept, which needs to be respected when evaluating the concept. The poster summarizes findings of research, which, among others, evaluated intercultural communicative competence development identified in writing in English in the ninth grade of lower secondary school. The evaluation was carried out while respecting individual-progress norm, i.e. while comparing one’s development level/stage/degree identified after an intervention with his or her pre-intervention performance. Outcomes resulting from the data comparison proved an impact of the intervention on pupils’ intercultural communicative competence development.
