Description The article analyses electoral support for centrist populist parties in the Czech Republic. Using the national election survey data and testing different theoretical expectations, it concludes that support for the Czech centrist populist parties cannot be explained by the old cleavages. Instead, evaluation of valence characteristics was the most powerful explanation of their support.
