Description Pathogenesis of schizophrenia has not been fully cleared, one of the hypothesis of schizophrenia pathogenesis is the neurodevelopmental hypothesis. In our association study has been studied the relationship between genes CTXN3, OPRM1 and schizophrenia on a group of 400 patients and 400 controls. Both genes are related to brain development and have been associated with schizophrenia in earlier studies.
