Description The goal of this work is to outline the issue of the creative economy as a source of competitiveness in regions of the Czech Republic. We define the most used types of output measurement in the creative economy, which are used in practice (Creativity index 3T, Euro-creativity index and 5C model), according to which this research was conducted. Time comparison also helped to fulfil the goal, as it proved the dominant position of the Prague region and, on the contrary, proved the worsening position of Pardubice and Ústí nad Labem regions. This work also contains a graphical evaluation of sub-indexes – Talent, Technology and Toleration indexes including comparison of their current quantity to their quantity ten years ago.
