Citation
Description The subject of this conference presentation is Israeli folk metal band Orphaned Land. Their lyrics deal mostly with abrahamic religions and sometimes are written in hebrew or arabic. But in contrast with general assumptions about metal music, their songs aren't against religions, in fact they try to promote peace between judaism, islam and christianity. These topics are examined through interviews with band members, documentaries and the symbols the band uses.
