| Description | We propose an action for an unstable Dp-brane with dynamical tension. We show that the equations of motion are equivalent to the equations of motion derived from Dirac-Born-Infeld and Wess-Zumino actions for a non-Bogomol'nyi-Prasad-Sommerfield Dp-brane. We also find the Hamiltonian formulation of this action and analyze the properties of the solutions corresponding to the tachyon vacuum and zero-tension solution. |
