| Description | Monosubstituted cucurbit[6]urils were prepared by reation of acyclic glycoluril hexamer and aldehyde bearing functional group. Their supramolecular properties were studied. They are able to bind ammonium guests. During binding of unsymmetrical guest (N-pentylviologen bromide) was observed formation of supramolecular diastereomers by NMR experiments. |
