Description | Drug-protein interactions have a significant effect on pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics properties of drugs. Bound fraction of drugs is reservoir, whereas free fraction provides pharmacological effect.Study of drug-protein interactions is thus important in the clinical therapy and in the development of new drugs. In this study displacement of L tryptophan from its binding site on human serum albumin (HSA) by several drugs was investigated by capillary electrophoresis frontal analysis (CE-FA). |
