Description The aim of this article is to analyze the results of the study regarding financial literacy topics. The study was implemented at Masaryk University among the students of the Faculty of Economics and Administration. The paper presents the results of empirical study conducted in two consecutive years 2013-2014 testing the students’ knowledge in the areas of personal budgeting, numerical literacy, price literacy, payment methods, how to search for relevant information, breach of a contract and its consequences, indebtedness, right and obligation of consumers in the financial markets. The results of data gathered from the studies over the time enable an insight into the shift of the financial knowledge of the surveyed target group.
