| Description | In the last 25 years tourism and recreation in Czechia and Slovakia faced many significant changes. These changes have been observed both in social and economic aspects on the one hand and the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the development of different types (forms and sorts) of tourism supply and demand on the other hand. The aim of the study is to introduce methodology under which the destinations of tourism are defined and typified and consequently spatially evaluate (quantify) current core functional types (forms and sorts) of the resorts with regional and national importance in Czechia and Slovakia. |
