Description | This article aims to acquaint the reader with the principles of franchising, which appears to be a viable business model for the Czech market. The main contribution of this paper is to confirm the suitability of this business concept through a case study of a company operating in the catering industry. The use of comparative analysis demonstrated that restaurants operated more efficiently when they were in the possession of licensees. Clearly, the development of franchise concepts has a positive effect on the contracting partners, but also on the national economy. |
