Description The subject of many current researches in the field of tourism is the concept of destination governance, which is based on cooperation between actors from the public and private sectors. These linkages between stakeholders in tourism are explored by interorganisational network theories. Tourist destination management in the form of networks can be considered one of the possible approaches to destination governance structures. The aim of this article is to present a comprehensive overview of researches in the area of tourism destination governance, especially, in the area of networks and their structures as one of the components of governance. The main research material for the formation of the overview of the research directions are the scientific articles that were found in the archives of foreign impact journals. During processing the articles the methods of comparison and analysis were applied. Selected articles were investigated according to their specialization and locality. Methods and approaches used by the individual authors dealing with structures of partnership in destination governance were also defined.
