Description | Bioanalytical Chemistry is as a branch of Analytical Chemistry dealing with the analysis of biomolecules. It includes also the utilization of biospecific interactions of biocomponents (as biorecognition elements) at the quantification of small organic molecules and the study of biomolecules interaction processes. Within the last one-two decades, modern bioanalytical chemistry shifts its attention to the analysis and investigation of biomacromolecules such as nucleic acids, proteins, and others. |
