Description This paper examines various questions of the utilization of existing reverse flows as the sources for product/service innovation in the context of companies innovative behaviour and reverse logistics management. Based on the empirical survey of 244 companies we have identified some major differences between two groups of companies (manufacturing and services in one group and tourism services in another one) related to the various sources for product (service) innovation which encompass reverse flows, as well. Frequency analysis, crosstabs, chi-square test, t-tests and Mann-Whitney U tests were applied to get answers to the basic research question if there are any differences between these two groups of companies when dealing with various types of reverse flows in their innovation behaviour.
