Citation
Description Metal nanoparticles are considered as potential candidates for use in many industrial areas. One of them is the field of solder materials for high temperature applications. Main problem of lead-free solder materials is surface oxidation or reactions which decrease for example the wettability of the solder. Study of surface effects and thermal stability of these small objects is, therefore, of a great importance. Surface effects taking place during thermal analysis of various metal nanoparticles on the basis of surface analysis by Knudsen effusion mass spectrometry were, therefore, studied.
