Description Noninvasive implantation potential assessment of a human embryo in the assisted reproduction is a challenge for experts from several scientific fields. The goal is simple: to get more information about embryo’s viability in order to select the embryo with the highest implantation potential to the embryo transfer. The experts seek for complimentary technique to light-microscopy, which is commonly used in assisted reproduction for the embryo quality assessment. However, the light-microscopy is limited only to the appearance of the embryo and it is not possible to give information about biochemistry. Thus, sophisticated analytical techniques are being employed to study embryo’s biochemistry noninvasively. The subject of this contribution was to present members of the research group and analytical instruments which are employed to the study.
