| Description | The goal of the submitted article is historical and socio-economical analysis of development of the Czech municipal system since the nineties of 20th century and consequential changes resulting in an administrative formation and extinction of municipalities. Certain benevolence of Czech government in historical returning but even in new awarding of administrative statutes town/market town will be pointed out. These statutes could be theoretically set up as a tool encouraging the development and the managing quality of the municipalities unlike being just a matter of prestige. |
