Description In relation to the impact of the financial and debt crisis, commercial insurance companies operating not only at the insurance market of the Czech Republic but also in global market conditions are looking for possible ways to make their activities more efficient as well as the ways to decrease the costs of insurance service provision. One of the effective ways to increase efficiency and decrease costs is outsourcing. The aim of this paper is to analyze the current state of outsourcing in the insurance practice in the insurance market in the Czech Republic. This paper presents the theoretical background of the issue of outsourcing. However, based on the study of literature and the findings of research by PricewaterhouseCoopers. At the same time, it shows the outsourcing in the current insurance practice at the insurance market of the Czech Republic with an emphasis on human resources and payroll, accounting, business, claims management and assistance services.
