Description Innovation infrastructure contributes to creation and diffusion of new knowledge, help to cooperation of science and business sphere and technology trasnfer and support innovation enterprise. In this article the innovation instrastructure means business incubators, science and technology parks and research centres. The aim of the article is to assess availability of innovation infrastructure in the selected regions and to compare them. The paper contains survey of existing innovation infrastructure and it compares the amount of public investments into it. The selected regions are the South Moravian, the Moravian-Silesian, the Olomouc and the Zlin Region. In this respect the best equipped is the South-Moravian Region, but the investments are concentrated only in Brno. The Moravian-Silesian Region is equipped with it in slightly lower extent, but the capital dominance is not so strong. The Zlin and especially the Olomouc region fall behind the previous two regions.
