Description The major part of eukaryotic genome is composed of DNA sequences that do not encode proteins. These sequences are transcribed according to developmental program of particular organism or as a result of exogenous signals. This transcription results in large amount of lncRNAs. In spite of the fact that these molecules are not described well, their regulatory potential is evident.
