| Description | The long-term sustainability of economic system does not depend only on the ability to reach quantitative economic growth, but it is also necessary to focus on its environmental aspects and sustainability development. Environmental innovations make efforts to reduce the negative impact of production and consumption. The article compares EU member states in the field of introducing of environmental innovations. The paper also deals with support of eco-innovations from the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) with respect to the involvement of individual states. |
