Description | Since 2008, the Czech Republic has gone through permanent changes of social welfare system, especially changes in the protection of families with children. Any partial amendments of social service have been argued by the necessity of spending restriction in a social policy. The aim was to analyze changes taking place in a social sector and what are their efficiency in terms of public savings. Author of this article compares individual benefits to appropriate ones in Great Britain and France. The contribution aims to respond an issue whether the Czech Republic is a generous welfare state or whether it is just a myth to argue with. |
