The research goal is to determine the impact of selected indicators of inequality on productivity and long-term growth. More precisely, the research will be oriented to analyse the selected aspects of socioeconomic inequality, especially differences between age groups, genders, wages, and disparities in public spending (determining the accessibility of different public services) among Czech regions and their impact on productivity growth. It is intended to estimate indicators for productivity growth at the level of industries and NUTS regions (level 2 or 3). In contrast to my previous research oriented to the national level, this more topic-specific orientation allows me to go beyond the scope of current research by analysing the possible determinants in detail at the regional and industrial levels. Among others, this approach could give an answer to whether the disparities in public spending within employment policy, transport policy or differences in taxes and benefits for various social groups impact productivity and how they affect it. Moreover, the empirical study findings could be used to provide accurate policy recommendations emphasising those measures that ensure equal opportunities and productivity.
