A goal of the project is to achieve better and swifter implementations of Council Regulation (EC) No 1206/2001 of 28 May 2001 on cooperation between the courts of the Member States in the taking of evidence in civil or commercial matters together with assessment of possibilities for the modernisation. This regulation accelerates the application of modern communication technologies for simplified and swifter taking of evidence in other Member States. The aim of the project is to analyze new possibilities of application for new technologies and the connected legal issues, with emphasis on deficiencies of the existing system.
