The Czech government has declared a state of emergency for 30 days

The government of Czech Republic has declared a state of emergency for 30 days, starting on Monday, 5 October. The main reason to do so is to give the government the ability to more easily issue and implement regulations and distribute medical equipment throughout the worsening epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic.

The COVID-19 pandemic had a negative impact on tourism worldwide. However, Serbia responded in a unique way that may inspire the future development of the tourism sector. Dušan Mladenović talks about why the introduction of free vaccinations for citizens of Serbia and neighboring countries has become a public health breakthrough. This spring, he received a Rector's Award from Masaryk University for his research.

MU will move to white level, classroom capacity restrictions to end

On Monday, 7 March, the university traffic-light system will move from green to white. The only restrictions that will apply at the university are those established by the government.

Considering the current epidemiological situation, the MU Crisis Board has decided to move to the green level of the traffic-light system. New measures will go into effect on Monday, 21 February.
