The Faculty of Economics and Administration meets the current needs of the labor market and will focus its new bachelor's programs on direct connections with practice.

Professional bachelor's programs aim not only to offer a practical alternative in higher education, but also to increase the much-important employment of graduates in the labor market through a deeper connection with real practice. These programs will replace the so-called combined study programs and, due to the nature of the study, will place less emphasis on theoretical training of applicants.

Upon successful completion of the accreditation process, the first students will begin their studies in the academic year 2021/2022. Professional bachelor's degree programs include compulsory internships of a minimum of 12 weeks, which may be extended if necessary. The possibility of internship with a current employer will be possible and desirable, as it can combine both the requirements of individual study programs and employers. Ideally, it should become the foundation for the selection and subsequent elaboration of the final work (project) of students, which will be discussed and defended in order to complete the study.

One of the conditions for the admission of applicants to this type of study is previous work experience, namely min. in the range of 12 to 24 months (depending on the type of study programs).

The Faculty of Economics and Administration has prepared these programs to offer the applicants a practically oriented bachelor's degree, which they will be able to link with their current professional activities. The students of these study programs will thus be offered the possibility of immediate verification of the acquired knowledge and skills in everyday practice.

The mere involvement of a larger number of external lecturers from the given professional areas will enable students to get acquainted with the opinions of experts on solving a wide range of topics and problems that practice brings. Their many years of experience will be for students not only a guide for the elaboration of final theses, but also a significant help in solving situations in their everyday practice.
