The current course of the Covid-19 epidemic in the Czech Republic has led to a tightening of conditions for people visiting the country. The new rules will come into effect on Friday 5 February 2021 and will remain in force until revoked. Entry conditions are governed by the risk level of the country from which a person travels to Czechia or where the person has stayed before. A list of countries according to the Covid-19 risk levels is published by the Ministry of Health. A simple map and a more detailed table specify the applicable measures. Medium-risk countries are marked in orange; high-risk countries are marked in red; and countries with a very high risk of infection are newly marked in deep red.

Dušan Mladenović: Free vaccination for citizens of Serbia and neighboring countries mitigates pandemic’s impact on tourism

The COVID-19 pandemic had a negative impact on tourism worldwide. However, Serbia responded in a unique way that may inspire the future development of the tourism sector. Dušan Mladenović talks about why the introduction of free vaccinations for citizens of Serbia and neighboring countries has become a public health breakthrough. This spring, he received a Rector's Award from Masaryk University for his research.

MU will move to white level, classroom capacity restrictions to end

On Monday, 7 March, the university traffic-light system will move from green to white. The only restrictions that will apply at the university are those established by the government.

Considering the current epidemiological situation, the MU Crisis Board has decided to move to the green level of the traffic-light system. New measures will go into effect on Monday, 21 February.
