The Potential of Tourism: (not only) an Academic Discussion

Networking and knowledge transfer are the main goals of the multi-format event "The Potential of Tourism: (Not Only) an Academic Discussion".

The event connects key stakeholders in tourism: entrepreneurs, the public sector, and the academic community.

The event demonstrates that research provides valuable information applicable in practice for strategic decision-making. Research findings will be presented in a popular way and later panel discussion will facilitate more detailed knowledge about the potential (opportunities) of tourism in the Czech Republic (e.g. measuring tourism performance, the use of mobile data in tourism, or eTourist).

Besides the academic discussion there will be presentations of best practice from abroad focusing on digital, green, and creative solutions in tourism. Thus, the transfer of knowledge reflects the current trends in tourism (T4.0).
