Combining work and parenthood

  • We support flexible forms of work and create conditions that help parents and those who take care of others balance their work and family responsibilities.
  • Parents can place their children in the ELÁNEK MUNI children's group Komenského or in other facilities of the ELÁNEK network.
  • On the ECON MUNI premises, you will now find two changing counters on the 1st floor to the right and left of the stairs, toilet type “immobile”.

Combining studies and parenthood

  • The so-called Recognized Parental Period (“UDR”) has been in place since 2013, and the university has taken measures to take your new life situation into account. A student who is on maternity and parental leave or a student on parental leave can make use it this period, but it is not mandatory.

Selection procedure at ECON MUNI are regulated by the MU Selection Procedures Regulations and Faculty rules, are open, transparent and follow the principle of evaluation based on the results achieved.

Prevention of sexual harassment

  • Sexual harassment is a very serious form of inappropriate behaviour and is not tolerated at Masaryk University.
  • Any conduct with sexual overtones without the other person's consent is unacceptable.
  • We provide advice to victims, witnesses and those accused of sexual harassment.
  • In dealing with sexual harassment the university applies the following principles: available help, protection of the victim, prevention of bias, and maintaining objectivity and confidentiality.
  • ECON MUNI supports an environment where it is natural to say No to such activity and behaviour.

  • You can contact the persons from the faculty: Mgr. Petra Ježová or Mgr. Ing. Ondřej Špetík, Ph. D. or turn to someone you trust.
  • The contact persons are also available to those who have been accused of harassment and feel they have been unfairly harmed by the allegations.
