Welcome to the Public Finance and Economics study programme. If you are looking for a study programme that will offer you not only an excellent education, but also the opportunity to gain international experience and open the door to a successful career, read on.
As a student of Public Finance and Economics, you have the opportunity to spend part of your Master's degree in France or Italy and get a second degree at a prestigious international university. You will spend a semester or two in a new culture and improve your English. As part of the programme, you will write and defend only one thesis, and the system of mutual recognition of courses means you don't have to extend your studies.
Statistics from Masaryk University graduates say that participants in the study abroad program have higher salaries and are more satisfied with their jobs. We can't promise you this, but we know that employers prefer independent people with an active knowledge of the language. Worried you won't make it? Take a look at our graduates' experiences below and don't be afraid to ask them. Study abroad coordinators will help you with the necessary formal aspects of studying abroad, so you'll always have the best possible support.
And what's the best thing about this programme? The cost of your stay is covered by Erasmus+ and the faculty will contribute a small scholarship as well. Your study costs will therefore be almost the same as the costs of studying in Brno. (For Erasmus+ funding reasons, student selection always takes place at the beginning of the calendar year.)
So don't hesitate and apply! For more information please get in touch with our contact persons (at the bottom of this page).
This programme is intended for students of our Master's programme: Public Finance and Economics.
The application must be submitted online, using ISOIS portal. It is the same application as for the Erasmus+ programme. At the same time, students need to inform doc. Ing. Robert Jahoda, Ph.D., who is academically responsible for this programme.
