Description | The paper presents a possible way of coping with the challenge of teaching ESP in a discipline that cannot benefit from a range of existing resources because no relevant resources for either teachers or students are available. The concept and the design of such a course is therefore handled solely by the lecturers who first need to succeed as "pioneer-authors". The introduction gives reasons for creating a course of English for Special Needs Educators. Next sections discuss the aspects considered at the stage of the course design, present the course syllabus and the course aims, and introduce the system of study materials and e-learning tools, as well as the adopted way of testing and assessing students’ knowledge and skills. Finally, the results of students’ feedback are also included. |
