Description The article presents the first results of research, which examine the student perspective on the use of ICT in connection with the course of their studies. The study focuses primarily on social and pedagogical aspects of ICT. In this context, it was confirmed that ICT can not be seen as something that stands outside the general educational environment, but we need to think about the device in the context of general and specific, that are tied to a particular institution. The research seeks to uncover these connections for the Philosophical Faculty of Masaryk University and to describe the sight of students in tertiary education in total educational environment, which is defined as space which is managing the learning process.
