| Description | The Arrowgrass family is represented by two native species, Triglochin maritima and T. palustris, in the Czech Republic. In the chapter of the taxonomic compendium of the Czech flora, nomenclature, morphological description, chromosome numbers, ecology and phytosociology, distribution in the Czech Republic and nature range of both species is treated. Karyological and morphological variation are commented in more detail as well as reliability of some older data about occurrence in the Czech Republic. The description of family, survey of basic literature and determination key are also included in the chapter. |
