Description Well known saprophytic fungus - mold Aspergillus fumigatus is an important pathogen for immunocompromised patients. Understanding the mechanisms intermediating host-pathogen interaction and enables infection developement should lead to finding of various treatments. Current results confirm wide structure variability of lectins in the specimen. Proteins are studied both structuraly and functionaly.
