| Description | The study analyzes the participation of Czechoslovakian exhibitors at important Soviet commerce exhibitions and trade fairs during the years of the First Republic of Czechoslovakia. It further focuses on the endeavors and initiatives of Czechoslovakian companies to exhibit at distant Soviet Union markets and it does not leave out the motives that led the Soviets to acquire exhibitors from the ranks of foreign companies. A sufficient amount of complete pieces of information was often decisive with regard to participation at trade fairs. That is why the study also analyzes the origin, amount and content of information that companies acquired about Soviet exhibitions and also the activities they carried out during the acquisition of relevant information. In some cases, the time delay that occurred during the conveyance of relevant information from Moscow to individual companies was also decesive. |
