| Description | All developed countries deal with a question of aging of the population nowadays. Also Czech Republic has been resolving this problem. One of the consequences of the aging is an accrual number of seniors. According to the medium option of projection of the Czech population, the proportion of persons in that age should grow in the whole horizon of the projection till it will present nearly one third of the population in 2050. On the basis of the accrual number of seniors its necessary to cover with a conception of social services not just because it presents an important item of public expenditures. The goal of the paper is to evaluate the present and future demographic evolution in Czech Republic and to point out a necessity of enlargement of social services supply. |
