Description Reflections on artistic intentional literature for children and youth in relation to pupils with special educational needs may develop in two directions, depending on the type of their medical or social handicaps and - consequently - on their particular educational needs (particularities of literature for blind and deaf persons and persons with mental handicap; autism spectrum disorders; dyslexia) then regarding the place and function of artistic literature in the educational-pedagogical process; the from the view points of literary history and literary theory.
