| Description | The contribution analyses foreign capital flows to Slovenia, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Romania. It aims to identify its links to competitiveness of their economies. The first part focuses on the general foreign capital trends starting from the initiation of the transition process until today. Special attention is given to the foreign direct investment and its role in the gross fixed capital formation. It then turns to the analysis of the specific countries investment position, its characteristics and a mutual comparison. |
