| Description | The contribution Disparities in regional development presents possible approach to solution of disparities problem in association with the results acquired by means of application of original method of business environment quality evaluation. This method was verified on the example of just about 200 Czech micro regions and 14 mezo regions and/or kraje and consists from two basic steps: evaluation of business environment quality on micro regional level and aggregation of obtained results to mezo regional level. Mentioned results enable evaluation of disparities with necessary respects to regularities of social-economic and geographical organization of territory (developmental and hierarchical differentiation of space with emphasis to polarization and integration processes). Evaluation of business environment quality simultaneously provide suitable base for correct identification of positive and negative disparities (approved differences between theoretical and existing values of business environment quality), which can be thus consequently effectively diminished by means of regional policy. |
