Description	The aim of this study was to analyze the occurrence of periodontal pathogens in the subgingival microflora of gingivitis lesions in subjects wearing fixed orthodontic appliances. There is a high occurrence of periodontal pathogens in these patients with clinical manifestation of plaque-associated gingivitis.
