Description The first part of the paper discusses the issue of public administration activities with regards to modern concepts of public management and trends of quality movement. The second part deals with aspects of quality in selected approaches to evaluation of public administration electronization. Discussed approaches reveal arguments that may question quality and rationality of e-government management. This article is a part of the work on the grant of the Czech Science Foundation Grant no. 402/07/1486 - Measurement of Citizens' Satisfaction with Public Sector Services as Integral Part of Quality Management in Public Sector Organizations.
