Description The intracelular concentration of heavy metal ions in cells is very strong controlled. In multicomponent regulation systems is the heavy metal biosorption dependent on surface quality of biosorbents, but also on many physical-chemical parametres of environment. The highest binding rates of heavy metals on pseudomonas cells were observed in first minutes after the cell contact with metal. The total amount of binded metal was dependent on its initial concentration in the suspension. The metals are binded different also on various cells structures. In the cytoplasm were detected only two metals - cobalt and zinc.
