Description | The adsorption of surfactants to a mercury/solution interface is often studied by measuring the differential capacitance C of the double layer. We studied the mixture of two surfactants - CDBACl (cetyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride) and CTAB (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide) in supporting electrolyte of 0.07M KF and 0.03 M KBr. The influence of deaeration, temperature and polarization direction were studied. |
