| Description | Working paper deals with an analyses of main demographic processes in the Slovak Republic in period 1990-2005. The focus is on main demographic determinants, namely fertility, mortality and migration movements. We concentrate on their influence on the age structure of population. Subsequently we try to discover how they affect competitivness of the Slovak economy. The most important effects are identifed in the area of population ageing and workforce ageing. |
