Description The outcome of the present study showed higher susceptibility of female mice to acute MDMA administration, however the behavioural sensitization development (during the repeated treatment) and expression (caused by the challenge dose given after the drug withdrawal) were confirmed only in males. The pretreatment with cannabinoid CB1 receptor agonist led to sensitization to MDMA stimulatory effects in all animals.
