Description | After the treatment with both drugs statistically significant decrease mean percentage nocturnal drop in systolic and diastolic BP (except of diastolic BP in 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. period in metoprolole group), independently of nighttime periods of measurement. The nocturnal fall of systolic BP in metoprolole group was after the treatment in nighttime periods (10:00 and 11:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M) less than 10%. After the treatment with both drugs statistically significant change the number of systolic dippers to nondippers. |
