Description | On 1st January 2006 an entirely new comprehensive code of public administration activities came into effect in the Czech Republic. This fact may be regarded as an exceptionally intensive impulse to an expert discussion on a number of theoretical and practical questions of the legal regulation of public administration activities. The summer workshop entitled New Administrative Procedure Code and Local Self-Government is a meeting of members of the Department of Administrative Studies, Administrative Law and Financial Law of the Law Faculty, Masaryk University, with invited guests (leading scholars from Czech and foreign universities and experts from the public administration) focused on discussing the new administrative procedure code and questions of its impact on the local self-government in the Czech Republic. It is meant to be a debate of representatives of administrative studies as well as the public administration aimed at exchanging ideas and opinions and defining expert legal attitudes to topical issues. |
